Jacob Slofstra (32) from Noordbergum, Netherlands, Process Operator at Philips Consumer Lifestyle, Drachten. For years i have been fascinated in vinylrecords and everything around it, especially the productionproces. As a hobby i perform electronic music and release this on vinyl in the formats 12'', 10'' and 7''. Selling a couple of thousand so far.
Now after many years of following the vinylmarket, vinylfactories and machine manufacturers i have started to research how the realisation of a small pressingshop is reachable.
My aim is to specialise in small production runs, picture discs and formost coloured/splattered vinyl. The coloured/splatted records are a important part what i really want to develop further. Step for step i will continue on this multi-annual plan.
